Channel Normalization Work on Jl. Camar Semper Barat Accelerated

Channel normalization work on Jalan Camar, Gang 8, RW 07, Semper Barat, Cilincing, North Jakarta has been accelerated because it is targeted to finish in December 2020.

In October, we have made arranged and normalized the channels by dredging the mud and installing it with sheet piles

Semper Barat Urban Village Head, Benhard Sihotang mentioned that previously some channels were misused into trading areas. It caused inundation to occur since the channels could no longer be used.

"In October, we have made arranged and normalized the channels by dredging the mud and installing it with sheet piles," he explained, Monday (11/23).

Micro Channels in Krendang Cleaned Routinely

According to him, this channel has length approximately 25 meters and width 1.2 meters. His side will reconstruct the channel and connect it to Damar Connecting (Phb) Channel through a crossing.

"Channel dredging and widening have been completed, only sheet pile connstruction is left. Its progress has reached about 40 percent,"
